Eric Diehl, PCA in the ICU, was nominated by a fellow staff member.

"Eric is self-directed and patient focused. Recently, while performing his numerous duties as a tech in the ICU, he took the time to shave a gentleman who had not shaved in over a week due to his illness. Eric took the time to shave the patient, first needing to use the clippers because the beard was so long, then using multiple razors until the shave was perfect. This simple act did wonders to boost the spirit of the patient and gave this patient back his dignity and respect. Eric goes above and beyond his duties as a tech and is certainly an asset to our unit. Eric is presently attending nursing school, and his compassionate care and focus on patients are evident by his professional work ethic."
