Financial Assistance Policy & Application

In keeping with its mission, UPMC Pinnacle Hanover strives to treat all patients equally, with dignity and respect, to serve the emergency healthcare needs of the community, to assist patients who cannot afford to pay, and to widely publicize the availability of its Financial Assistance Policy.

UPMC Pinnacle Hanover’s Financial Assistance program provides discounts to patients (up to 100% of hospital charges) who meet financial eligibility guidelines. All patients eligible for financial assistance will not be charged more for medically necessary care than the amounts generally billed to patients who have insurance.

If you are interested in applying for financial assistance, please:

  • Complete our application
  • Mail completed applications (with all documentation/information specified in the policy) to UPMC Pinnacle Hanover, Attn: Financial Counselors, 300 Highland Ave, Hanover, PA 17331.

UPMC Pinnacle Hanover financial counselors are available to provide assistance with the Financial Assistance application process. Please visit their offices in rooms #501 and #502 in the Emergency Department area at 300 Highland Ave, Hanover, PA 17331, or call 717-316-6973 to make an appointment.

The Financial Assistance Policy and summary, and Financial Assistance application are available in English and Spanish. Please know that we will treat your questions and any information you provide us with confidentiality and courtesy.
