SERVICES
The Hanover Wound Care Center treats non-healing, chronic wounds with the latest wound care techniques. Wounds treated may include, but are not limited to:
- Arterial Ulcers
- Venous Ulcers
- Diabetic Ulcers
- Pressure Ulcers
- Traumatic Injuries
- Surgical Wounds
- Vasculitis
The staff at the Hanover Wound Care Center is experienced in knowing that not all wounds heal in the same manner. That is why the Wound Care Team performs a thorough and comprehensive evaluation that focuses on factors that could cause delays with wound healing. Once the wound evaluation is completed, a specific plan of care is implemented to meet each patient’s individual needs. This plan of care is then reviewed and revised, at each visit, as appropriate.

Ostomy Services:
At the Hanover Wound Care Center, a Certified Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurse (CWOCN) will perform an evaluation and make treatment recommendations for ostomates who are having difficulty with pouching, peristomal breakdown, leakage, or any other related ostomy problems.
The Hanover Wound Care Center also hosts the Hanover/Gettysburg Ostomy Support Group meetings.
