  • Wear sunscreen
  • Wear sunglasses
  • Wear a hat
  • Cover your body as much as possible
  • Wear light color and loose fitting clothing
  • Avoid exercising in the middle of the day
  • Remember to always cool down after exercising
  • Rest and recover
  • Use common sense

Ways to Get a Better Night's Sleep

  • Exercise regularly in the late afternoon
  • Establish a sleep schedule
  • Reduce the stress level in your life
  • Lower the temperature in your bedroom
  • Restrict your intake of liquids before bedtime
  • Avoid snacking on heavy, spicy, or high-fat foods before bedtime
  • Reduce your intake of caffeine
  • Avoid alcohol near bedtime
  • Don't catnap during the day
  • Be wary of using sleeping pills

Boost Your Immune System

  • Maintain a healthy diet
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Take the correct supplement if your diet does not provide the recommended daily allowances
  • Limit your sugar intake - high amounts of sugar have been linked to the lowering of white blood cells
  • Limit dairy intake - dairy foods may give bacteria the environment needed to grow
