The Food & Nutrition Services Department at Hanover Hospital will provide complete food and nutrition services to our customers. Food Services include preparation and service of nutritious and appetizing food to patients, staff, visitors, and medical staff.
Nutrition Services include in-patient and out-patient assessments, nutrition counseling, and nutrition education programs for community organizations, local businesses, and the general public.
Nutrition Counseling Appointments:
Registered Dietitians are available to provide individualized outpatient nutrition counseling. These in-depth appointments include a complete nutrition evaluation and education session and last approximately one hour. Insurance companies may or may not cover this service. You could check with your insurance company to determine your coverage before scheduling an appointment with us. Be sure to ask your doctor for a referral. Additional appointments may be recommended after your initial visit with the registered dietitian to assist you in your lifestyle change.

- Hypertension
- Pregnancy
- Eating Disorders
- Food Related Allergies
- Renal Disease
- Sports Nutrition
- Others as prescribed by your physician
Education Programs:
