Hanover Hospital's Next "Freedom From Smoking" Program Begins January 7th
The New Year offers the perfect stepping stone to make brand new, healthy changes in your lifestyle. Are you still the same old smoker? Hanover Hospital can help usher in a new healthy beginning to your personal well-being!
The next “Freedom From Smoking” program begins Monday, January 7th. Classes will be held weekly from 6 – 7:30 p.m. through February 11th at the Hanover Community Health & Education Center, 400 York Street, in Hanover. The program is free.
“Freedom From Smoking” is an empowering 6-week course that helps uncover all the ways to quit smoking and determine which method is best suited for you. Topics in this fun and no-pressure class include stress management, behavior modification, weight and exercise management and lifestyle issues as they relate to smoking. The class also uses the “buddy system” to incorporate peer support during the quitting process, and is facilitated by a certified smoking cessation/tobacco addiction educator.
