Hanover Hospital Therapists Earn Advanced Specialty Certification

Hanover Hospital Rehab therapists Karen Ayres-Malinowski, OTR/L CHT, and Stacie James, PT, MS, PCS, recently achieved advanced certification credentialing within their professional specialties.  Both individuals work at the Hanover Hospital Rehab Center – Cherry Tree, Hanover.

Karen Ayers-MalinowskiKaren Ayers-Malinowski, an Occupational Therapist, has achieved Hand Therapy Certification by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission, California.  Employed by Hanover Hospital since 2004, she has over 14 years of occupational therapy experience.  She is now the only certified hand therapist in Hanover.

Stacie JamesStacie James, a Physical Therapist, has earned certification as a Pediatric Clinical Specialist from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).  Employed by Hanover Hospital for a total of 17 years, she has worked in pediatric therapy since 1982. Out of tens of thousands of licensed physical therapists across the nation and its territories, only a small percent achieve this level of advanced clinical recognition.
