Hanover Hospital Celebrates Lifeline 21st Anniversary
Hanover Hospital is celebrating 21 years as a Lifeline Personal Response Service provider. Throughout the years, Hanover Hospital has helped many seniors throughout York and Adams Counties live confidently and independently in their own homes.
By simply pressing the personal help button worn around the neck or wrist, immediate access to help is available 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. A professional monitor accesses the caller’s needs and responds accordingly, by calling a friend, loved one or emergency services.
Brenda Kempa, Lifeline Community Outreach Manager, says, “We strive each and every day to help as many seniors live safely at home. We firmly believe that Lifeline positively enhances the lives of seniors throughout the community. It allows individuals to maintain their independence and dignity, and assures family members and caregivers that their loved one will get the help they need when they need it.”
