Hanover Hospital to Present "Diabetes Dialogue 2007"

Hanover Hospital is pleased to present “Diabetes Dialogue 2007,” a free program featuring educational presentations entitled “A1C Champion Program,” and “Tune in-Tune up.”  The event will take place on Monday, November 12th from 6 – 8:30 p.m., at the Hanover Health and Education Center, 400 York Street, in Hanover.

“A1C Champion Program” guest speaker Betsy Snell has diabetes and has been successful at keeping her A1C level under 7%.  Martha Yost, RN, BSN, CDE, a Certified Diabetes Educator at Hanover Hospital, will present “Tune In-Tune Up.” Participants will learn how to keep in tune with their body and how to pass their annual check-up.

The free program also will include taste testing, presented by Registered Dietitian Denise Stamm, MS, RD, LDN, CDE, of Hanover Hospital; free flu shots for people with diabetes; blood pressure screening, and light refreshments.
