Dr. Carlos Vidal Joins Internal Medicine Associates of New Oxford

Carlos J. Vidal, M.D., an Internal Medicine specialist, recently joined Dr. Joanne Chan at Internal Medicine Associates of New Oxford.

Dr. Vidal served his residency in Primary Care Internal Medicine at VA Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, PA, where he was Chief Resident, and also served residencies at Mercy Wilkes-Barre, Hazleton General Hospital, and Community Medical Center, in Scranton. He earned his edical Degree at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, Lima-Peru.

He is a member of the American College of Physicians-American Society of Internal Medicine; AHPS, Hispanic Association of Health Professionals, New York; and Peruvian college of Physicians.

New to the Hanover area, Dr. Vidal feels strongly about establishing a good rapport with his patients, and stresses the importance of listening and communicating with them. Fluent in Spanish as well as English, he possesses the ability to communicate with even more people. "With language, I bring another culture along with my knowledge and experience," he explained.
