Dr. Zaher Srour is New Ears Nose & Throat and Facial Plastic Specialist at Hanover Hospital
Officials at Hanover Hospital are pleased to announce that Zaher Srour, M.D. is Hanover’s newest Otolaryngologist. Commonly known as an Ears Nose & Throat specialist, an otolaryngologist treats patients with problems and diseases of the head and neck area, and performs facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
After finishing his medical school training and his residency program in Otolaryngology, Dr. Srour most recently completed his Fellowship training in Cranial Base Surgery, and Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Columbia University, New York.
Professional affiliations include membership in the American Society of Otolaryngology, the North American Skull Base Society, the American Medical Association (AMA) and the Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research. He is a member of the Hanover Hospital and the Gettysburg Hospital Medical Staff.
Dr. Srour is involved in research and publications. He has written numerous articles dealing with sleep disorders, voice-related problems and highly virulent infections. He is also involved with ongoing research projects at Columbia University and other medical technology corporations.
Dr. Srour is particularly proud of his involvement in Aid Organizations and Accidents Prevention Associations. He is a member of the professional United Nations Volunteers (UNV), International Red Cross, International Lions Club, YASA (Youth Association for Social Awareness), and many others. As new residents of the Greater Hanover Area, Dr. Srour and his wife, Maria, look forward to becoming actively involved in the community.
Beginning early October, he will share the offices of Hanover/Gettysburg ENT Dr. James Manning. Their offices are located in the Eichelberger Professional Building, at 195 Stock Street, Suite 305, Hanover; and at 508 S. Washington Street, Gettysburg.
