"Medicare Facts for New or Pre-Retirees" to be Presented on September 15

Are you nearly or newly retired and confused about choosing a Medicare plan?  You won’t want to miss “Medicare Facts for New or Pre-Retirees,” a FREE seminar hosted by the Greater Hanover Area Seniors Task Force.  The seminar will be presented on Tuesday, September 15, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., at the Hanover Hospital Wellness & Education Center, 400 York Street, Hanover.

Offered twice a year, the seminar offers participants important information to better understand and navigate the Medicare system.    Representatives from both the York County Area Agency on Aging, and the Adams County Office for Aging, Inc. will present on the following topics:

• Review of benefits provided under Medicare
• Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plan coverage options
• Medicare Savings Programs
• Medicare Preventive Services
• Supplemental Insurance/Medigap Plans
• MyMedicare.gov and other technological tools
