Community Multiphasic Blood Screening Planned for September 19 & 20

A community-wide Multiphasic Blood Screening will be co-sponsored by Hanover Hospital and The Rotary Club on Friday, September 19th, 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.; and Saturday, September 20th, 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., at the Hanover Community Health & Education Center, 400 York Street, Hanover, PA. 

This low-cost comprehensive multiphasic blood screening can assist the physician in the detection of health problems such as heart disease, kidney or liver disease, some forms of cancer, diabetes, muscle or bone disease, and anemia. 

The cost of the test is $32.00.  An optional thyroid screen (TSH) is available for an additional $12.00 and a prostate screen (PSA), recommended for men over age 50, is also available for an additional $18.00.  A free lung function test will also be available at this screening.
