Community Invited to Tour Hanover Hospital's New Same Day Surgery and Physical Therapy Areas

Hanover Hospital is hosting a FREE Open House to showcase the new locations of the Same Day Surgery and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Departments.  The Open House will take place on Thursday, August 6, from 5 – 7 p.m.  Tours of both areas and light refreshments will be provided.  

A demonstration of  PM&R’s new Tran-sit Automobile Simulator will also be featured.  The Simulator is used to help patients learn the best way to get into and out of a vehicle following total joint replacement surgery.

A special presentation will take place at 6 p.m. to recognize Dr. Thomas Toner for his 30 years of devotion, service and leadership to the hospital and the community.  During his medical career, Dr. Toner performed countless outpatient surgical procedures at Hanover Hospital’s Same Day Surgery Department.
