What’s Your Number? Find Out at Diabetes Table Talk

May 3, 2010 -
What’s your number?  Your Estimated Average Glucose (eAG) number, that is. Find out about eAG at the next Diabetes Table Talk support group program, which will take place Monday, May 10, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Hanover Hospital Wellness & Education Center, 400 York Street, Hanover.

If you have diabetes you may already know about the A1C, which tells you the average level of glucose in your blood over a period of 2 to 3 months.  Learn about eAG, which is a new way to report the A1C, see the new blood glucose meters, obtain insulin pump information, and check out the mail order availability of supplies to test your blood sugar.  You can also have your meter checked and cleaned by Hanover Hospital certified diabetes educators.
