Dr. Vipul Shah is New Internal Medicine Specialist

Officials at Hanover Hospital have announced that Vipul B. Shah, M.D., an Internal Medicine specialist, has joined the Hanover Hospital Medical Staff. 

Born and educated in India, Dr. Shah received his Medical Degree at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore University, India.  He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Maryland General Hospital/University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), Baltimore, Maryland, where he served as Chief Resident. Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Shah most recently worked as Site Director of Hospitalist Management Physicians of Lucas County, St. Luke’s Hospital, in Maumee, Ohio. 

Dr. Shah has assumed the practice of Dr. Michael Garcia, who joined the Hospitalist physician team at Hanover Hospital.  The office is located at 3130 Grandview Road, Building A, at the South Hanover Medical Center.

Pleased with the good response he’s received from his new patients, Dr. Shah looks forward to growing his new practice and becoming involved in community service.
