Hanover Hospital Announces New Director of Development

Officials at Hanover Hospital recently announced that Nicole “Nikki” Schroeder is the new Director of Development.  In her new position, Schroeder will serve as the liaison between the hospital and the newly formed volunteer Development Council and assist with coordination of its philanthropic initiatives.

A native of Hanover, Schroeder received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communication from Towson University.  Her background in marketing, public relations and sales has served to promote area charitable organizations.  Her recent local outreach Evening Sun “Column with a Cause” served as a platform for increasing visibility of local non-profit organizations such as The Eichelberger Performing Arts Center, the Red Cross and the VNA.  In addition, Schroeder provided financial literacy courses for the York Housing Alliance, Fair Housing Council, and Red Cross on subjects such as improving credit scores, preventing identity theft and obtaining a first time mortgage.
