Occupational Therapists Celebrate with Annual Silent Auction

In recognition of Occupational Therapy Month, the Occupational Therapy staff of Hanover Hospital’s Rehab Centers will offer their annual Silent Auction from March 30 to May 8.

Proceeds from the Auction will benefit the Hanover Hospital’s Care Club, which provides emergency assistance to hospital employees in crisis situations.

Creative theme packages with items such as framed cross stitch, picture frames, Memory Makers, Longaberger baskets, and scrub sets will be available for bidding.   The packages  will be displayed on a rotation basis  throughout each of the Hanover Hospital Rehab Center locations, as follows:

March 30 – April 3
Littlestown Rehab, Littlestown Professional Center, 300 W. King St

April 6 – April 10
York Street Rehab, 400 York Street, Hanover          

April 13 – April 17
Hillside Rehab, 250 Fame Ave., Hanover                 

April 20 – April 24
Cherry Tree Rehab, 785 Cherry Tree Ct., Hanover

April 24 – May 1

The Silent Auction is held each year to promote the profession of Occupational Therapy.  Occupational therapists help individuals to perform everyday activities such as bathing, dressing and handwriting.  Therapists work in hospitals, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centers, schools and pediatric clinics.
