"The Medicare Facts for New and Pre-Retirees" to be Hosted by The Greater Hanover Area Seniors Task Force

The Greater Hanover Area Seniors Task Force will host a free seminar entitled “The Medicare Facts for New or Pre-Retirees” which will be held on Thursday, April 10th, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., at the Hanover Community Health & Education Center, 400 York Street, Hanover.

All nearly and/or newly retired persons are invited to attend the seminar.  Representatives from both the York County Area Agency on Aging and the Adams County Office for Aging, Inc. will be presenting on the following topics of interest:

• Review of benefits provided under Medicare
• Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plan coverage options
• Medicare prescription drug coverage and tools to navigate the “Drug Plan Finder”
• Medicare Savings Programs
• Medicare Preventive Services
• Supplemental Insurance/Medigap Plans
• MyMedicare.gov and other technological tools

Light refreshments will be served.
