Hanover Hospital Joins "Healthy York Network"
In an effort to improve access to healthcare for the uninsured and underinsured, Hanover Hospital is proud to be a participating member of Healthy York Network.
Healthy York Network is a group of community organizations, physicians, pharmacies and hospitals who are working together to make healthcare available to all community residents, regardless of their ability to pay. Network members include: Hanover Hospital, Memorial Hospital, WellSpan Health, Community Progress Council, Family First Health, York City Bureau of Health, York County Assistance Office, the United Way of York County, and the York Spanish American Center.
Healthy York Network (HYN) is NOT a health insurance program. HYN discounted services are provided by participating healthcare providers to individuals based upon their income level eligibility and ability to pay. Individuals must reapply every six months to continue their enrollment. There is no fee to become a member of HYN.
In addition to hospitalization costs, HYN provides discounted rates for medications and outpatient services such as doctor visits, emergency visits, physical therapy, lab tests, x-rays, and diabetes education programs.
