Hanover Hospital Cardiac Rehab Annual Fitness Walk - March 29

Hanover Hospital’s annual “For Hearts Sake” Fitness Walk will take place Saturday, March 29th, from 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m., at the North Hanover Mall.

The walk is held each year to promote awareness of the importance of exercise as part of a healthy cardiac lifestyle and to raise money for the Cardiac Rehab Special Needs Fund, which provides financial assistance to patients with medically related special needs.

The “For Hearts Sake” Fitness Walk is a non-competitive, indoor event.  Walkers can choose to walk any distance, at their own pace, to increase their cardiovascular fitness.  Every registered walker is eligible to win prizes donated by local businesses.

There is a $5.00 registration fee.  T-shirts can also be ordered:  short sleeve - $8; long sleeve - $12.  Walkers may earn a free T-shirt by obtaining sponsors and raising $30 or more.  Special prizes will be awarded to the individuals who raise the most money.

Registration forms are available at North Hanover Mall and Hanover Hospital, and registration will take place until 9 a.m. the day of the Walk.  For additional information, or to request a registration and fundraising form, please call the Cardiac Rehab Department at (717) 633-2158, or 1-800-673-2426, ext. 2158.
