Hanover Hospital's Annual Golf Benefit

Please join us for the 2017 Hanover Hospital Golf Tournament: Friday, August 4, 2017 at the Hanover Country Club

Hanover Hospital is pleased to announce that it will be celebrating the 30th Anniversary of its Annual Golf Tournament. This year’s tournament will benefit the newly constructed Mammography Center. The new center will bring all of the mammography services together in one location, including 3D Mammography technology. This technology offers increased cancer detection, decreases callback rates, refines definition of structures within breast tissue, and improves lesion visibility. It will dramatically improve the detail visible to radiologists interpreting the mammography images.

Hanover Hospital has been blessed by the community’s generosity and support for this tournament over the past 29 years, and we are grateful for every dollar donated. Your donations enable Hanover Hospital to provide excellent care to our community.

We would like to take this opportunity to address the hospital’s announcement to form a strategic partnership with PinnacleHealth. On Thursday, March 23, 2017, Hanover Hospital’s Board of Directors signed a non-binding Letter of Intent with PinnacleHealth to formally outline their discussions of a merger. Given the current state of health care, this significant decision enables Hanover Hospital to remain in this community for generations to come. This decision will better position the hospital to enhance and expand services to the community, increase access to local care, retain and recruit more physicians and provide stability through financial investments. The health systems will begin to move through the regulatory process and anticipate finalizing the merger in the fall.

We remain committed to providing our community with the high-quality and compassionate care they have come to expect from Hanover Hospital. Our patients have always been, and continue to be our number one priority. I also want to assure you that all charitable donations the hospital has received as well as future donations, will remain in our community. Your support has been and will continue to be essential to us fulfilling that mission. Please call (717) 316-6906 if you have any questions or would like further information.
