Reiki Share

Tuesday, December 5, 2017
Time: 7-9 p.m.

Reiki [Rei = Universal, Ki = Energy] does not claim to be either religion or science, but it draws on the energy all around us and within every individual to support other forms of healing. Reiki is generally administered through gentle hand placement. One can receive Reiki either lying down or seated in a chair.

After receiving Reiki, many people report a great sense of inner peace and some report sleeping deeply for the next two nights or so. Lack of sleep is a major stress symptom. People report a great sense of peace even after only five or ten minutes of Reiki, although a full treatment usually lasts about an hour.

If you would like to try Reiki at no cost, there is a Reiki Share offered by Hanover Hospital on the first Tuesday of every month at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 129 Charles St., Hanover from 7 to 9 p.m. You can drop in or stay for the entire two hours. No appointment is necessary. Your sample will last 10 to 15 minutes.

If you wish, you can make an appointment for a full hour of Reiki Therapy. You can do so by contacting Eric Stenman at Hanover Hospital:
