Patient-centered care is about engaging the patient and his/her family in every step of their care. We believe that caregivers - regardless of rank or station - must be respectful and responsive to the needs, wants and values of the patient and family.
By asking our patients about their hospital experience we can continue to improve our care, treatment and services in all aspects of the hospital experience. Patients are encouraged to complete and return surveys they may receive at home after receiving Hanover Hospital services. These surveys are administered by Press Ganey Associates – the industry's recognized leader in health care performance improvement for over 25 years.
Our goal at Hanover Hospital is to be provider of choice and number one in customer service among all health care providers. To do so, we need to know what we are doing well, and what we could do better. This means we must depend on you our patients to keep us informed. We need your feedback and value your opinion.
Patient feedback is one of the most important ways we find out what is working, and what isn't working. If you have any concerns about your stay we encourage you to speak directly with your nurse, doctor and/or manager. You can also share your concerns with our Patient Experience Manager who will work with the clinical team or department director to resolve your concerns.
