A.W.A.K.E.

Meetings of the A.W.A.K.E. (Alert, Well and Keeping Energetic) support group are held on the first Tuesday of every other month for those diagnosed with sleep apnea. The group provides support and information about the disorder, diagnosis, and treatment. For more information, call (717) 633-2229.  (View the Community Calendar for more information on the next meeting.)

Hanover Hospital also offers a bi-monthly newsletter, Sleep Center News.  A new issue is released at each meeting of the A.W.A.K.E. support group.  Although created for the sleep apnea support group, the newsletter is filled with tips for anyone who has trouble sleeping.  Monthly themes range from how to avoid drowsy driving to improving your sleep habits with diet and exercise.  Click on the cover below to read that edition.
